If YOU think Feyre painting the cottage was cringe (it wasn't), that's a YOU problem. No where in the books is it stated any of the IC had a problem with it. Mor even participated and the cabin already had the paints in it. I'm sure the IC, who have snowball fights and like to fuck shit up, do not care about her painting a magical cabin. Like be so serious. Just say you hate Feyre and her growth and move on.

Yall are delusional if you think Nesta is going to leave Cassian or the night court. First, they are mated. Not just mates. Mated. They accepted the bond, and SJM loves her Heas. It's a done deal. So either keep reading and deal with it or drop the series and find something you enjoy. Not to mention if they even could break the bond, how empty and broken Nesta would be for eternity. You really want that for her?
HOFAS happened three months after acosf. There's still alot of healing on Nestaâs part. Just because she saved Rhys, Feyre, and Nyx doesn't mean things are swept under the rug with them. Her and Cassian are both fiery and stubborn. They are going to have arguments. Honestly, it's perfectly normal for them to argue on occasion.
This. What Nesta did in HOFAS. Went beyond her and Cassian, beyond Rhys. This was a decision that Nesta should not have made herself. Yes I understand that she saw Bryce's desperation and understood her. She probably put herself in Bryces shoes for a moment. She took a chance. But it's a huge fucken chance because they don't know nor trust Bryce fully. And if she failed the whole of Prythian/Midgard is fucked. They have nothing to defend themselves against the weaponry Rigelus has. They will all die. Including Nesta Archeron.
Rhys had every right to scold her. And Her saying he's not her High Lord isn't accurate. She lives in his lands. Whether she wants to admit it or not. If any of the courts got wind of what was happening with Bryce or that Nesta gave this mask up to a stranger from another world do you know who would be faulted? Not Nesta. Rhys and Feyre would. They would suffer the consequences because Nesta falls under their lands. Their rule.
And now Cassian, who apparently had never defended Nesta once. Again. Nesta was In. The. Wrong. Her actions were beneficial and understandable but wrong. Cassian being upset and disappointed in her would absolutely make sense. Think of times in TOG, when Rowan wasn't happy with Aelin. He stood there silent until they were alone. That's more than likely what happened. Cassian didn't say his piece until everyone left. It's an argument between Nesta and Cassian and no one else.
That argument. The one that happened off page yet everyone wants to fucking crucify Cassian over cause you think you know what he said. When in reality you don't. Is wild. Three months ago, when she was with Emerie and Gwyn, they were taken and placed in the Blood Rite where he was helpless in going to her. He lost her briefly in the bog, watched her put her life at risk. How many times in acosf? He went a year or so watching Nesta absolutely ruin herself, had her lay over his body in front of Hybern, almost losing her, them, then too. Now, someone, a stranger and someone potentially dangerous, opened a portal in his living room where his mate was. And he wasn't there. All that trauma and ptsd he keeps on lock was blown wide open.
So now Cassian is a storm of emotions when he arrives home. Probably arrived mid argument between Nesta and Rhys, and the entire flight was given brief details of what's happening fueling his emotions. His fear, trauma, concern, disappointment, and anger. When Rhys leaves, Cassian and Nesta got into it. Sure he was pissed about the mask anyone would be. I would be. I personally think it goes on beyond that. Far beyond it. Nestaâs life, once again, was put a risk and no one knew what Bryce wanted. Cassianâs worst fear when the portal was open, was Bryce taking Nesta and never seeing her again. All that came out in their fight.
As readers, we know Bryce's intentions are good. They as characters who haven't been given the best view of Bryce dont believe it. Yes, I do think there needs to be more trust in Nesta. Especially where Rhys is considered. Cassian, as her mate, blowing things out of proportion is logical cause all mates have done it at some point. But yeah he needs to trust her a bit more too. He trusts her more than Rhys does that's for sure.
To play devil's advocate, I could be wrong on Cassian and Nesta and their fight. Absolutely. Im not Sarah. But neither are you who are wishing he dies, and Nesta leaves him over a risk that was never hers to make alone when it involves the whole world of Midgard.
If you read this entire thing and disagree. That's cool. The unfollow and block buttons are right there.

If you don't like a character IM BEGGING YOU TO DOđđŒ NOTđđŒ UNDERMINEđđŒ THEIRđđŒ TRAUMA!!!
It wouldn't fkn hurt you to admit:
Rhysand was tortured, fucked and beaten for 49 years (his fkn words)
Feyre was neglected and was verbally abused
Nesta was groomed and sexually assaulted
Morrigan was sexually harassed and assaulted by her blood family
Cassian and Azriel are born from r*pe and been verbally abused and not taken seriously their whole life
Azriel was physically abused by his family
Gwyn was gang r*ped
And Lucien was forced to sleep with Ianthe. Just like Rhysand who had no choice in sleeping with Amarantha and had to take her focus from everyone and didn't want to be a s*x slave for her, Lucien was probably guilt tripped by Tam/in to perform their ceremony, he definitely didn't wanted to do it, specially with that priestess even if he says he did it willingly. He had no choice...
You can dislike these character all you want, I don't give a single fuck. But it's vile to say any of these characters weren't abused in some form because you hate them.
#i know exactly who they are#and fuck them and their fan base#and if you agree with any of them don't hesitate to block me#and don't bother to comment or reblog this with fkn nonsense just block me#or honest to got i will report and die hard to take fkn account down i'm so fkn serious#i'm sorry if you don't follow me for this#but im so tired of keep seeing it#feyre archeron#rhysand#nesta archeron#cassian#azriel#lucien vanserra#gwyneth berdara

Sharing Is Caring: A Neapolitan Bondâs Fic
Day four of @polyacotarweek : Adventure
Summary: Azriel has a surprise for you after the ball in Hewn City. That Surprise is Rhys and Feyre.
Master Post| Poly Week Master Post| A03 Link
Rating: E| Word Count: 4339| Pairings: Azriel/Eris/Reader, Feyre/Rhysand, Azriel/Rhysand, Feyre/Reader
Warnings: Rope Bunny!Reader, all sorts of various sex, bdsm undertones, consensual partner switching, Azriel and Reader POVs
A/N: I donât elaborate fully but I do mention there are established rules amongst the three of them. Kink plays into this but itâs unspoken understanding that they can and will stop or refuse something at any time. The part where Az explains rules laid out is more about Eris being the dominant in that moment than it is about their poly bond. Feyre and Rhys are a âsurpriseâ but itâs been discussed off scene that yes, being with them is on the table for all three participants.
Tagging: @saltedcoffeescotch @hieragalbatorixdottir @ysmtttty @mybestfriendmademe
You shivered when Az slipped two fingers between your bare skin and where the rope rested on your back. He was checking to make sure Eris didnât wrap it too tight. He gave a hum of approval and withdrew them.Â
âHow do you feel?â He leaned in by your right ear. âHow is your breathing?â
âI'm good. I can breathe fine.âÂ
You inhaled sharply on instinct. The ropes wrapped all around your chest and waist were comfortable. Restrictive and snug, but not as tight as youâve had them before. Decorative knots trying them in place pressed along your spine. You couldnât see them but they felt nice. Az kissed your cheek.Â
âGood. Now slip on your dress and letâs see how it looks.âÂ
You turned, and walked to the bed. Youâd laid out dress before Eris came in. Your cheeks heated as you picked it up, your hands visible through the thin fabric. The room instantly filled with the scent of both your mates as you pulled on the dress. You turned to face them- eyeing Eris specifically.Â
Azriel had picked out this dress for your visit to the Night Court. Eris would not be attending- just you and Azriel as representatives of the Autumn Court. Which was why Azriel had Eris practice his harness, so youâd feel him even if he wasnât there. Though there was arousal in the air, you felt the annoyance from Eris through his bond before he shut it down.Â
âItâs not that bad, is it?â You bit your lip and walked over to the mirror.Â
The dress itself was beautiful. Gray with an iridescent sheen, cut in faux modesty. The swooping neckline wasnât low enough to show off your breasts. But the fabric was thin and it didnât stop the red rope from shining through- or the color of your areolas. The fabric was less see-through around your hips thankfully. But two high slits in the skirt left little to the imagination. The sleeves were long and when you turned, the knots of the rope could be seen like flowers along your back.Â
Eris cleared his throat. âI donât know if I canât let you leave like that.â
âHold on,â you replied.Â
Skirts billowed between your legs as you walked to the bathing room. You knew his issue was your breasts. Territoral brat, you thought with a giggle. There was a trick you picked up in Dawn- they loved their flowy fabrics but that came at a cost of thickness. You just had to remember where you put them. You dug around in your drawers and found it- two cloth discs close to the color of your skin and a bottle. You took them to the sink and laid them out. As you shook the bottle and Eris and Azriel came into the bathing chamber.Â
âWhat in the cauldron is that?â Eris asked.Â
âSamira gave me these.â You replied simply.Â
âThat doesnât tell us what it is, baby,â Az chuckled.Â
You ignored him and pulled at the neckline, careful to not stretch it too much. You took the one you just outlined with the sticky paste and gently placed it on your breast. Once you were satisfied, you first looked in the mirror and it wasnât visible outside the dress. You turned to your mates.Â
âBetter?â You asked.Â
âYes,â Eris grumbled.Â
He still frowned, looking between your covered breast and uncovered one. Azriel was grumpy as well but for a different reason. You knew he was put out by the fact your your breasts werenât visible any longer. He loved showing you off, unlike Eris. You liked it too but felt this was a good compromise. Last thing you all needed was Eris storming the Court of Nightmares to kidnap you because he couldnât stop thinking about you and your exposed skin.Â
You put the other one on and adjusted the dress when you were done. The rope was still visible and beautiful under the dress but only the shape of your breasts were visible now. You went and put the bottle back and once again turned to your mates.Â
âCan we go now?â You asked innocently.Â
Az was already dressed, black leather trousers and a deep gray formal shirt cut to fit around his wings to go with the dress. You did your hair and makeup before Eris put the ropes on you and it was getting dark. Az might be a fan of âfashionably lateâ but you werenât.Â
âYes,â Eris looked between the two of you. âAnd I better not get another note from Rhys saying someone caught you in the corridors again.âÂ
You and Az both rolled your eyes at the same time. You were just kissing- but someone blew it out of proportion. Probably because Az had his hand up your dress on your thigh. You blinked realizing right then thatâs why Azriel bought this dress with high slits. You tugged his bond and he tugged back sending a smug confirmation. Ass. You sighed and walked up to Eris to give him a chaste kiss on the lips.Â
âIâll behave Daddy.â Fire flashed in his eyes as you ducked away, knowingly teasing him.Â
âI make no promises,â Az added, he too giving Eris a quick kiss. âIs what we talked about still on the table?âÂ
âYes,â Eris cut his eyes to you. âBut only if you want it.â
You didnât know what it was. Azriel told you he might have a surprise after the ball. If it was something Eris agreed to then it fell under the established rules between the three of you. Though you were certain that surprise was actually a someone or someones.Â
âOf course,â you replied, waving him off.Â
As if your mates ever forced you to do something you didnât want.
âWe will be back tomorrow,â Az took your arm. He smirked at Eris. âIf we donât return by noon Iâm sure you know how to storm Hewn City.âÂ
âDonât tempt me. Enjoy your little adventure,â he said sarcastically.Â
You clung tightly to Az as his shadows enveloped you, shadow walking you into Hewn City.Â
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The party went as well as you could expect. Azriel put on a cold persona, guarding you very closely in the beginning until you were near the High Lord and High Lady. He relaxed a little after. Mostly due to Cassian riling him up. The teasing between them did not escape you, not when it was more than what they did during visits to Valeris.Â
You stayed near Nesta and Feyre, Nesta dragging you out to the dance floor more than once to make Cassian and Azriel pay attention to you both. By the time it was past midnight, you were firm in belief of what surprise Azriel had in store for you.Â
You both headed to suite Eris normally used on Hewn City. The room even smelled like him when Az shut the door behind you. You were making your way to the bathing when Az pulled you by the ropes under your dress so you were back against his chest. He kissed your neck while shadows circled you both.Â
âAre you up for playing?â He whispered in that deep tone that made your eyes roll back.Â
âMaybe.â You hummed as he kissed your neck again and his hand came up to cup your breast. âJust us or will we have a guest?â
âYou know me so well,â Az nipped at your ear.Â
âWho is it?âÂ
âRhys and Feyre.â He felt you tense and immediately added. âWe donât have to baby, itâs just a suggestion.â
You moved out of his hold to face him. âItâs not that. I just- I thought it would be Cassian.â Your face heated at the confession.Â
Azâs gaze went dark and he grinned at you. âDo you want to play with Cassian?âÂ
âMaybe, but it was just how he talked to you tonight, I thought-â Heat creeped up to your ears. You didnât know why it was embarrassing. âWell I- liked it.âÂ
âIâll keep that in mind for next time. Iâll tell Rhys you said no-â
âI didnât say no.â He cut his eyes to yours and you saw his wings flare out a little. âI just said I thought it was going to be Cassian and Nesta. Iâll play with Rhys and Feyre.âÂ
âYou sure?âÂ
âYes sir.âÂ
His cedar scent sweetened and he dropped his eyes to your chest. âTake those fucking nipple covers off first, then we will go.âÂ
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Az shadow walked you to the open hall of moonstone palace. The chill air made your nipples harden under the fabric now that your covers were removed. He took your hand and led you down the hall.Â
âEris said you can have Feyre any way you like but Rhys can only use his fingers on you.â He whispered into your ear. âBut if you want, he suggested you sit on his face and humble him.âÂ
âAnd you?â Your body was already flushing at the idea.
âI can have Rhys if I want to. If I do anything with Feyre, itâs up to you.âÂ
âDo you think Iâll get jealous?â Your giggle echoed along with your footsteps.Â
âI would be offended if you didnât.â He kissed your cheek.Â
Azriel finally stopped at a door. He didnât knock- you assumed he alerted them with his mind as there was no shock from the occupants when you stepped inside. Across one side of the room was a large bed. Big enough for Illyrian wings and others comfortably. Right across from the bed were two chairs who housed the current room occupants. Az dropped his hand to your lower back, guiding you towards them.Â
Rhysand and Feyre watched the two of you, their gazes made it look like they knew something you didnât. Your nerves spiked; you put up your mental shields like Eris taught you just to put yourself at ease. Az stopped in front of them. Feyreâs gaze raked over you. Rhys was the one who broke the silence.Â
âDid you enjoy the party?âÂ
âWe did,â Az replied. âBut I think weâre going to have much more fun here.â Az, ever the flirt.Â
âWe have rules.â You said it quickly, your nervousness coming out. âDid Az explain them? Before?â
âYes, baby,â he chuckled, answering for Rhys. He always found your nervousness cute. âYou donât have to worry about Rhys. He knows what he can and cannot do with you.âÂ
âI wonât get you in trouble,â Rhys winked at you. For some reason that made you blush.Â
Feyre stood, her white gown glistening in the fae lights. It was a beautiful dress; a halter top with a high slit. It was even more beautiful in contrast to her tattoos. But you always thought Feyre was beautiful. The air between you was charged even though she stood a few steps away from you.Â
âCan I see? The ropes?â Feyreâs eyes widened with what appeared to be excitement. âI have never seen that before.â
You looked to Az and he nodded, removing his arm from you. You slipped the dress down off your arms and shoulders, letting the fabric gather at your hips. Feyreâs mouth fell open as she looked you over.Â
âItâs so pretty,â she breathed, walking around you. You preened under her attention. âDid you do this,â she asked Az from behind you.Â
âEris did.âÂ
âCan I touch you?â Feyre stopped in front of you and bit her lip.Â
âYou may.â
She reached out and touched the rope that wrapped around and lifted your right breast. You inhaled sharply, trying to not gasp. Her finger tips skimmed across the rope, ghosting along your skin. She looked up at you again and you didnât have to see her pupils were blown out. You could smell her.Â
âCan I touch you,â she asked again, damn near breathless. You knew what she meant.Â
âPlease.â
You swore you heard your mate chuckle. Her hand went to your breast and you whined. She stepped closer and ran her thumb along your nipple. You didnât ask permission when you leaned in and kissed her. Gods you hadnât kissed another female in so long. You both sighed and your arms went around her neck. Her lips were softer than both your mates and she tasted sweeter too when you slipped your tongue in.Â
While your hands undid the clasp on the back of her neck that connected her dress, Feyre pushed at the fabric gathered at your hips. She hummed against your lips when her fingers met bare skin instead of underwear. Shoes were kicked off and the clasps on Feyreâs dress let the straps fall off her, her heavy breasts freed. You pulled away to look at her, your hand running down over her chest to cup said breast.Â
âBeautiful,â you muttered.Â
You glanced up at her and circled your thumb on her nipple. That was all it took for her to push off her dress and push you onto the bed.Â
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Az was mesmerized watching you kiss and undress Feyre. He didnât even tell you to stop and ask for permission- you looked too happy. That and his shadows hissed at him to leave you be. He fell back in the chair behind him and just watched, his cock stirring in his pants as the smell of you hit him hard.Â
Azriel.Â
Rhys.Â
He didnât bother to look at him, still watching you and Feyre climb onto the bed together. His hand absentmindedly rubbing his now hardened cock through his trousers. Then his view was obscured. His focus shifted to look up at Rhys.Â
I didnât ask for you to come here just for you to ignore me all night. He smirked.Â
Then get on my lap.Â
Rhys stared at him, thinking. Or at least pretending to. Az knew Rhys well enough that even after centuries he still had to act like he wasnât eager. Azrielâs wings flared out as Rhys moved and straddled his thighs. Az reached and grabbed his ass, pulling him close. Rhys finally leaned in and pressed his lips to Azrielâs. There was a content sigh that left him when Rhys slipped his tongue into his mouth. Az didnât know if he wanted to curse or praise Rhysandâs silk trousers. They were making him slide against Azâs leather pants while in his lap and each time Azriel pulled him forward, Rhyâs hardness would bump against his own.Â
Gods I missed you. Rhys moaned into his mouth.Â
Az missed him too. He loves Eris and you; but he still missed being with Rhys and even Cassian. Only fleetingly; you and Eris satisfied his heart and soul. That didnât mean he was immune to reminiscing about the times before. He was surprised Eris let him do this when he asked.Â
Az groaned and bit Rhysâs lip.Â
âFuck,â Rhys pulled back gasping. Az looked up concerned.Â
Your mate just gave mine one hell of an orgasm. Rhys started to laugh softly.Â
Already?Â
I may have been edging Feyre all night. Rhys grinned smugly.Â
Azrielâs shadows started to work on their clothes, undoing his and Rhysandâs pants. Az was grateful- he felt your pleasure building through the bond. One look around Rhys and he saw you with Feyre crawling over your body. Â
Looks like Feyre is about to return the favor. Az chuckled.Â
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The moment you were on the bed, you made Feyre lay up at the top. You gave her just a moment before you lavished kisses on her body, leading yourself down to settle between her legs. Feyre tasted as good as she smelled. You immediately lapped up her wetness, your tongue finding her clit and your fingers slipping into her with ease.Â
Thatâs good. Feyre spoke it into your mind but moaned loudly. Oh thatâs really good.Â
It was weird being able to talk to Feyre without using your voice but nice at the same time. You felt around for a moment inside her and Feyre bucked against your face.Â
Found it.
You grinned and sucked on her clit. It did not take long- Feyre squirmed on the bed, pulled at your hair and a few minutes later she gasped and was pulsing hard around your fingers as you worked her through it. She was catching her breath when you pulled out your fingers, sticking them in your mouth to lick them clean.Â
Rhys edged me before you got here. Her pretty face flushed.Â
Those do make for the best orgasms. Az edged me so much one time that I came just from Eris touching me.Â
You looked her over as you pulled your fingers out of your mouth. You realized she had a faint glow to her.Â
âYou glow.âÂ
âOnly when itâs good.â She smirked.Â
âGlad to know I made it good.â You smirked back.
You moved back over her, intending to just kiss for a moment. However, Feyre was in your mind and looking up at you while biting her lip.
Can I, you know, go down on you?
You donât have to.Â
Feyre ignored your reply. She flipped you over onto the bed so she was over you now.Â
I want to. Tell me what to do. Â
So you did. You laid back and let her kiss down your body, taking her time and touching the rope still on you. When she finally settled between your legs, you told her to just do what she liked done on herself. You still had to guide her a little. She moved her tongue differently than Az and Eris, a welcomed change that had you rubbing yourself against her face.Â
Careful you said when she pushed her fingers into you. You have longer nails.Â
Right, sorry.  Feyre made sure to be gentle. Â
âGood girl,â you whispered when the pads of her fingers found that spot inside you.Â
She moaned against you and you pushed your hands into her hair. Looking up you could see Rhys sitting in Azrielâs lap. Shadows were flurrying around them. You focused on the bond. You could feel Azâs joy in taking care of Rhys. You pushed your pleasure through and grinned when you felt him tug back with a warning. You werenât pushing your luck, not tonight. You went back to focusing on Feyre and mummering your praise as she brought you over the edge.Â
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
With the help of his shadows, he had Rhysâs shirt open and his pants undone. While Az let his own shirt slide off onto the floor behind the chair, he kept his trousers laced. Az wanted to focus on Rhys first. Rhys was insatiable as ever, his kisses getting rougher while shadows played with his chest and nipples. Az forced him back long enough to spit on his hand and start stroking Rhysâs cock.Â
Rhys groaned and went back to kissing him. Azrielâs strokes were slow, almost lazy. He loved working his partners up and this was no different. He felt you through the bond, like a questioning pulse. Az sent down his feelings and let you know he was enjoying himself. You sent back pleasure that shot down his spine and made his hips buck.Â
Your mate? Rhys grinned against his lips.Â
Sheâs being a brat. Az replied playfully.Â
Azriel tugged the bond once: a warning if you didnât back off, youâd be in trouble. You seemed to take the hint and your side of the bond backed off. Az went back to stroking and kissing Rhys. It didnât take much longer for the High Lord to reach the edge. Az pulled back. He stroked him faster and leaned in to bite at his neck. Rhys roared a curse and a rumble went through the mountain as he came all over Azâs hand and between their chests.Â
âWhat the fuck was that?â Your voice carried loudly.Â
Az busted out laughing, still stroking Rhys who for once looked embarrassed.Â
âIf itâs good, he makes the mountains shake,â Az could hear Feyre giggling as she said it.Â
âNot funny,â Rhy shoved at Azrielâs hand but didnât move off him. He buried his face against Azâs neck. Something he hadnât done since they were youths.Â
âPoor Illyrian baby,â Feyre called out.Â
âEvery time?â You asked. He could see you looked shocked. âThis is a High Lord thing, isnât it? Eris makes the fireplace damn near explode sometimes.âÂ
Rhys pulled back, brows raised at Az. âDoes he?â
Az laughed. âHeâs getting better at controlling it. Something you could learn to do.â He looked around to you again. âIâm going to tell him you spilled his secret.âÂ
âItâs not a secret when the whole damn Forest House knows. Theyâre just too polite to say it to his face.â You grumbled just loud enough for him and Rhys to hear.Â
Azriel tugged the bond twice and you tugged back once. A promise to behave. He turned his attention back to Rhys.Â
âYou made a mess. I think you should clean it up.âÂ
âYouâre just trying to get me to suck your cock,â Rhys leaned in and kissed him hard. âYouâre lucky that it works on me.âÂ
âI am good at getting High Lords on their knees.âÂ
Az laughed when Rhys shot him a look, slipping off his lap and tucking himself back into his pants.Â
You could just fuck me. Rhys sank to his knees. Or did Eris say no?
He was afraid Rhys would ask. He didnât have it in him to explain his feelings about it. He just sighed aloud and mentally replied.Â
I say no. Itâs nothing personal.
Understood.Â
Rhys didnât push it. He used his magic to clear away the mess and then focused on undoing Azrielâs trousers. Az sat back and watched Rhys take him out of his trousers and immediately take him into his mouth. Az slumped in his chair, the tension heâd been feeling all night seeping out of him. Rhys remembered just how he liked it too, tongue swirling around the head of his cock each time he pulled back.Â
Az didnât draw it out. He grabbed Rhys by his hair and forced him to take him down his throat. Rhys choked and Az came, spilling down his throat. He let go and watched Rhys pull back and gasp for air. Which was probably the hottest thing heâd seen all night. Az went to tuck himself back into his trousers but you tugged on the bond.Â
âAz,â you called out from the bed. You and Feyre were grinning at him and Rhys. âWould you be up to playing with Feyre?â
Az looked at Rhys.Â
Rhys gave him a lazy smile. Donât look at me like that. I want to watch.
Of course you do. Az chuckled.
Instead of redoing his pants, he shoved them off. Rhys did the same and they both joined you and Feyre on the bed.Â
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
After bidding them good night, Az shadow walked you both to the room. Mostly because you didnât want to put your dress and shoes back on. Az was similarly nude, clothes in hand. You wanted to wipe down and go to bed; the sooner morning came, the sooner you could get the ropes off. You loved them but sometimes the feeling was overstimulating. You didnât dare ask Az to take them off you if only because it would put out Eris. The smell hit you first. The room smelled like Eris earlier but it was stronger now. Your whole body relaxed when you spotted him in the chair by the fireplace.
âMiss us so much you had to storm the city before dawn?â Az asked.Â
Eris cut his eyes up from the book in his lap, looking between the two of you.Â
âI take it you had fun,â he slipped a paper into the book and closed it.Â
âYes.â You dropped your clothes and went up to him. He set the book aside and let you climb into his lap. âThank you.â You kissed him hard.Â
âYou donât have to thank me, love,â he whispered when you pulled back. âIt was Azrielâs idea.â
You could hear Azriel in the background moving around the room but you remained where you were. You needed to tell him. The guilt was on your face, you knew it.Â
âI told them about the fireplace.â Eris blinked at you. âIâm sorry, Rhys made the whole fuckin mountain shake and I- I was a little worked up from⊠Feyre. It just came out.â
Eris bursted out with laughter. âGods, the whole mountain?âÂ
âAre you mad?â
âNo,â Eris tried to stifle his laughter but failed. âBy the mother, heâs been a High Lord for centuries and he still cannot control himself?â
You blinked, a little confused. Az spoke up from the other side of the room.Â
âTo be fair, he didnât start that until he met Feyre.â He said. âI think he showed off once and forgot how to turn it off.â
There was silence for a beat before Eris looked you over. âYou look tired, love.â He stroked the bare skin of your thighs with his thumbs. âYou also reek of Night Court.âÂ
âSleep first.â You laid your head against his shoulder, slumping into his grasp. âCan you take the ropes off?âÂ
âOf course.âÂ
He used his magic and the ropes vanished. You closed your eyes and sighed, relieved now that nothing was pressing against your skin. He must have used his magic to clean you or glamour on you one; the smells from Rhys and Feyre on you were stifled. You felt another pair of hands on you. Azriel pulled you out of Erisâs lap. You grumbled in protest.Â
âIâm just putting you to bed, grumpy,â Az chuckled. He carried you and placed you on the bed, pulling the blanket up.
You wanted to protest. You had so much to tell Eris but sleep was pulling you into its grasp quickly. Youâd tell Eris about your adventures in the morning you decided; as long as Az didnât do it first.Â

It's so crazy because you really can at least attempt to justify what Tamlin did. He should not have locked her up, but it came from a place of fear, love, and genuine concern for her saftey. With the IC, Nesta was "embarasing" them. At least while in the mansion Feyre could do and eat whatever she wanted. Nesta could not. Which is insane to me đ
Oh it's not just an attempt.
I could easily do it.
It would be just as easy if not easier than justifying Rhysand.
And Tamlin actually did a lot of good. What good did Rhysand do in 50 years? How much information did he recover? In 50 years Rhysand did a lot more bad than good. Which is a canon fact. The few good things he did does not make up for everything else.
Especially because his excuse of protecting Velaris made no sense. Why would he need to protect a city no one knew about? None of it tracks, unless he's actually evil and it's all just excuses.
The fact that people don't see the parallels of what Tamlin did to Feyre and what the inner circle did to Nesta is truly embarrassing.
Feyre at least wasn't controlled in every aspect of her life.

I am begging, begging, the acotar fandom to become familiar with the concept of ship and let ship. If a ship isn't your cup of tea, no one is making you drink it. No one is making you consume content for it. Leave people alone for enjoying the things that scratch their brain. Life is too short and the world is too mean to ridicule people for trying to squeeze a little joy out of silly "what-if" scenarios. These characters aren't real, they're just little dolls whose faces we're smushing together and some of y'all take it way too seriously
#feysand#Specifically I am so tired of seeing rhysta hate in the feysand tag#RHYS ISNT REAL#FEYRE ISNT REAL#the people writing those fics are though#and hating people for harmlessly shipping is so fucking lame#just let people build their little castles in the sandboxes without kicking them over

each time a G/wynriel says "Elriels wants Elain to be Gwyn so bad!" I lose another braincell trying to understand how someone can be so delusional and absolutely blind to canon sequences repeated over and over by multiple characters, yet so passionate in looking for clues between the lines (which in most cases, are simply not there, dare I say) and twisting the most obvious scenes to fit their narrative
we're all entitled to our own opinions and preferences but I simply cannot take them seriously when all I see are those opinions absolutely misreading canon text and giving characters qualities they do not possess - or trying to take away the ones they do - because they do not suit some wild theories which have no reasonable grounds to back them up
if you fail to understand Elain's character, qualities and background even if it's stated blankly in the books, that's on you I guess, but don't embarrass yourself saying anyone would like Elain to be Gwyn - I can assure you that while most of Elriels like or even adore Gwyn's character and the others are neutral towards her, all of us here writing about Elain are here for her exactly how she is being portrayed throughout the whole series
we love her exactly how she is and frankly, none of us has to take away anything from other characters
maybe before stating something so profoundly stupid, take a look in the mirror and look up the word "hypocrisy" first

Well, again, the issue is not that Rhys has done bad things, itâs how those actions are framed in the story. Letâs think about this â if Rhysandâs actions UTM were framed as negative then perhaps we would not be having this conversation.
Of course, we can argue that Rhysand (1) has developed negative coping mechanisms / perspective (2) Rhysandâs trauma informs the things that he does (both pre, during, and after UTM), and (3) Rhysandâs position was uniquely isolating because of the nature of the role he was forced to play. These are points that I believe can be argued and offer an interesting view; but for any of that to happen, we have to acknowledge that the behaviors are negative. Thatâs often the problem with the arguments that begin to arise â no one wants to admit that Rhysand has developed (or just has) negative qualities and behaviors. No one wants to contend with the reality of consequences. âRhysand has always admitted that he would be willing to do terrible things for his familyâ â and yet thereâs no elaboration on those âterrible things.â No one wants to talk about those proposed negative qualities. The story (and the audience) donât want to admit that Rhys doesnât really have a solid moral high ground over Tamlin, or admittedly other villains. Just because Rhysand âadmitsâ heâs prone to basically being abusive doesnâtâŠmake it any less abusive.
My proposed argument about Rhysandâs actions UTM are this: he chose to sexually assault Feyre, he chose to âprotectâ Feyre in ways that were extremely sexually explicit. I believe these are choices that Rhys chooses to make â and I believe they say something about him. Itâs noted, to me, that Amarantha scarcely makes Rhys do anything that he does to Feyre. I also believe that his actions regarding Feyre were done with an air of autonomy; as in, I believe Rhysand takes these measures into his own hands. Ultimately, I believe that while Rhysand has to contend with the horrors, he himself becomes beholden to them at some point and ends up perpetrating the same behaviors.
We cannot argue that Rhysand sexually assaulted Feyre, and then argue that it doesnât say something about him. It does. In the realm of the story â from a writing standpoint â I think a good author can still make a character like that sympathetic and understandable (see: Nahadoth and Itempas from N.K. Jemisinâs Hundred Thousand Kingdom). If I were analyzing Rhysandâs actions, I would simply make the argument that perhaps Rhysandâs abuse of Feyre mirrorâs his own abuse by Amarantha hands, and he potentially sees Feyre (and her hope) as something to be threatened â or even shamed by. If Rhysandâs actions were written in a way that clearly exemplified that his actions are not meant to be praised (and are NOT are reflection of love) then he could be salvaged. I actually believe a lot of the abusive things Rhysand does makes sense given the environment and if the story leaned into this from a storytelling perspective and did away with needing to moralize, then this would all be fine. Framing Rhysandâs abuse of Feyre as something to be praised, admired, and loved for is actually quite insane. If we frame his actions as purely preservational and self-serving, that would make so much sense. Imagine being in Rhysandâs position; I guarantee everyone would do whatever they could to stop such extreme amounts of abuse and sexual violence. And even then, the story could still create a narrative that warns of the danger of sexual violence and consent, it would just be subtextual and more allegorical than concretely written in the text. Starting Feyre and Rhysand off in such a tragic place, having Feyre and Rhysand acknowledged truly what happened, having them discuss ways for both of them to move forward while building up the mating bond in the background. Have Feyre acknowledge this untrusting, sly, slick part of Rhysand and have her not assume her mate does everything out of the kindness of his heart. Build their romance out of a place of mutual atonement â play on the theme of guilt Feyre feels and the whole premise of the court. Let the connection between Feyre and Rhys be that they truly acknowledge each others darkness (and also let Feyre do selfish things â maybe she knew damn well Clare Beddorâs family might suffer a bad fate but its not her family and Feyre would do anything for them; Let Feyre kill those fairies with ease because she cares about her life. Let her contend with reality that she would actually do anything for her family and then have that be a connection between Rhys and Feyre.
Something that has always bothered me about the âwe donât talk enough about Rhysandâs traumaâ argument that gets thrown around when we earnestly discuss the validity of his actions is the presumption of innocence in that statement. The unwritten statement is that the trauma somehow explains and simultaneously absolves him of the implications of his actions. I objectively agree with the sentiment â Rhysandâs trauma is not talked about enough and it should be. The argument dancing in the corner is the fact that people believe that Rhysandâs extreme amount of trauma absolves him â even going as far as essentially say that Rhysandâs abuse operates out of fear (or because of fear) which is essentially the exact same ideology the book bashed Tamlin for. In the end, the cycle just comes back around and the abuse gets pushed into the backdrop.
#anti sjm#anti rhysand#anti feysand#anti feyre#anti acosf#anti acomaf#this is more of an analysis of character than anti character rant#Iâm just tired of people trying to essentially disregard that rhysand has done bad things#while simultaneously trying to make justification for it
